How many times in life can you recall, some of you recently, wherein a friend, loved one, relative or business associate initiated a conversation with you that you knew was going to take you through multiple levels of emotion to include, mad, angry, irritated, sad, heartbroken, disappointed, you get the picture, all at the same time. Not long ago, I went to my doctor's office for my annual physical, and they put me up on a treadmill for a stress test. When they first started the machine, I was walking at a nice, easy pace and I felt pretty good about my performance. In fact, I was thinking, "This is easy! No problem here!" The Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) is striving for a more timely and reliable fleet. One stride towards that takes place next week when FAST will unveil five new buses and seven vans for operation. In light of that, the City is having the FAST Bus Blast Monday, July 14 at 2 p.m. in the parking lot behind City Hall. Two buses and one van will be on display. Buses and vans go into service Tuesday, July 15.

Develop a Habit of Speaking Positively

Christians need to learn how to be positive. By this I mean positive in line with God's plan and purpose. I am not talking about the power of positive thinking just as some kind of esoteric regimen. That is good, but it is not good enough for us to achieve what God would have us to achieve. Thinking positively is always better than thinking negatively, and it will put you in a better frame of mind to accept what is going on around you.
Once we begin to experience success in the workplace, we naturally ask, "Do I need to share my success with others?" Esther was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime - to become the queen. Many other ladies were considered but Esther found favor in the king's eyes. Most people desire success at some stage in their life. However, many of us fail to realize that success also comes with responsibility.
